about us

Make the most of every day, every moment.  These are words we live, for ourselves and for our patients.  Any company can provide a product or device.  Any company can show compassion.  This should be seen as the floor.  We push ourselves up off the floor and help one another rise through the ceiling every day.  Providing the proper device and showing we care is just the beginning for our patients.

We provide real outcome measures to show the beginning and also all the progress made.  And we celebrate the progress!  This is as invigorating as a glorious SUNRISE.

Meet Our Team

Nate Smiley, COA

Nate is a Certified Orthotic Assistant with over 15 years of experience in O&P.  Nate attended Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA and graduated with a degree in Biology & Exercise Science.  He made a name for himself in O&P by conducting educational seminars around the country during his tenure with Ultraflex Systems Inc and then Boston Brace (now Boston O&P).  It was a great pleasure of his to teach about novel devices & treatment approaches but also learning from others and further refining those techniques.  This idea of continuous improvement is what drove Nate to start Sunrise O&P.  There is always a better way and Sunrise O&P will continue to find that better way with & for their patients!

Nate enjoys spending time with his spectacular wife, Angela, and their four kids; Luke, Gus, Ted & Sara.  Although his kids may not like it, Nate enjoys coaching them in as many sports as possible.  In a rare moment of quiet, he will find a quiet lake & try to catch some big fish … or at least tell stories about the one that got away.
